Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples has been an American actress and performer for over 20 years. She has received best-recognition for her performances in Nashville The 2012 drama, in which she played Layla Grant. She also received the award for Sharknado 2013, where she played Claudia Shepard. In addition, she played the principal character Jerrica Jem Betnton in the film Jem and the Holograms (2005). Aubrey Peeples was raised in Lake Mary in Florida with her parents Wendy and Ashley. She has a younger sister Ally. Aubrey performed for 10 seasons in Orlando Repertory Theatre. She is a graduate of Lake Mary Preparatory School and was awarded valedictory honors for students of the 2012 class as she graduated. Harvard University was willing to admit her. However, she turned down the offer twice. The second time it was due to the fact that she wanted to perform in Nashville. Peeples was as a character in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2011, Grey's Anatomy (2005) as well as Grey's Anatomy (2005). She also had a recurring part in Necessary Rustness (1991). She appeared in made for TV films Ace Ventura Jr.: Pet Detective (2009) and The Good Mother. In the second season, she was cast as Layla Grant in the Nashville drama. Peeples opened up about bipolar during an interview in 2019 in NKD Magazine. Indiewire ranked Peeples at the top of their list of the top actors who are younger than September of 2014.
